Riding in This Heat
Riding a bike is the closest I get to flying on a regular basis

The first part of the month was marked by local flooding due to massive storms. Local lakes have been overcapacity since then. Last week was blazing hot, with a heat index over 100°F! It put a crimp in my riding, but I was still able to get out and ride. My bikes are nothing fancy, a late 90s GT Talera (with bags and rack) and a similar vintage Avalanche. GT is famous for its triple triangle frames. I love the way they ride. I encourage everyone to dust off their bikes and head outside. There’s tons of stuff you miss when tucked inside a car.
